The Power Curve (x²)
Power Launch doesn't use linear leverage. Returns are governed by a power function.
| Spot Move | Long Power Coin | Short Power Coin |
|---|---|---|
| +50% | +125% | -75% |
| +25% | +56.25% | -43.75% |
| +10% | +21% | -19% |
| +5% | +10.25% | -9.75% |
| +1% | +2.01% | -1.99% |
| -1% | -1.99% | +2.01% |
| -5% | -9.75% | +10.25% |
| -10% | -19% | +21% |
| -25% | -43.75% | +56.25% |
| -50% | -75% | +125% |
The asymmetry is the key: positive convexity. For any given spot move, the winning side always gains more than the losing side loses.
Asymmetric Payoff
- Upside: Non-linear, accelerating returns
- Downside: Capped at 1x your investment
Bounded Floor
Your power coin can lose value but can never hit zero. The math makes it asymptotically approach zero without reaching it. This is why there's no liquidation - there's no price at which your position is worth nothing.
IMPORTANT
In one sentence: you're not borrowing anything, so there's nothing to liquidate.
Try It Yourself
Drag the slider to see how returns change across different power exponents - notice how upside accelerates while downside stays bounded.
